my heart sank when i heard tht laura passed. i remember her love for life and smile when i knew here back when i was a kid. my heart goes out to her family. laura had a love for life and always put others first. i will always learn from that!

There are many memories I have of Laura during the years she attended Palatine High School. The last time I saw Laura at a PHS reunion she was, as always, full of energy and meeting life full steam ahead. Her time on earth was a gift to many - may the good memories you have of her carry you through this difficult time.

Her loving and gentle spirit affected me in a such a positive way during a time of a tough transition. Your entire family are in my prayers during this time of grief. Although i never met Laura I've heard good things about her, and it's always hard when a member of the SB family passes away. I've gone to Camp Ability/Independence for the past 11-12 years and if i would've been able to go this past summer i would've been able to meet Laura.

You are in our thoughts! You were my Son Danny's inclusion aide at the Bartlett PD about 11 years ago. Although I only met Laura one time, the memory of that is still with me. You always spoke of Laura with such LOVE and ADMIRATION! Laura was such an inspiring young woman. God Bless you during this time of grief!
