I always wonder how different things would have turned out for all of us if Na hadn’t passed when she did. Maybe it wouldn’t have changed much, but I like to think it would. She would have absolutely doted on your kid. I hope you’re together now cheering us all on. You’re not forgotten.

I don't remember you, but I visit this website almost everyday to see the picture of you. It's strange to think that you died 18 days before my birthday, and today is your birthday. So, happy birthday, dad. It's also sort of weird that your birthday is exactly a month after mine.

It's really hard for me to write this. I think about this all the time... We went to Glenbard Middle School/Glenbard High school. During that time, I gained an amazing friend and a brother as well. I can't believe I lost touch with you. In the summer of 2011, I tried to find you on Facebook, I googled you and this came up. My heart instantly sank and I was in complete shock. Rest in peace brother. Save enough room in heaven for me. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for letting me freestyle with you and your cousin during that one summer night. Thank you for the crazy adventures we would have during the summer. Thank you for making me feel in place when I felt like the odd one out. That's your charm. Malcolm, you had that charm that one rarely posses. Thank you man. Your presence is a gift that cannot be forgotten and will be cherished forever.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and wish that you were still here with us. I can't believe you're gone, and I can't believe that the world goes on normally without you in it. It tears my heart apart that I couldn't help you somehow. All these shoulda coulda woulda's are so hard to handle. Every time I pass by the Carol Stream fountain I think of that summer when we used to go there almost everyday. Remember when we'd jump in the fountain on those hot summer days, then everyone else followed suit, lol. I think we're the reason they installed those cameras! Or when we saw Shrek when it first came out with She'nell and Erykah? They've grown up so much! You're the reason I got so good at Halo considering we played it almost every day that summer at Diane's house, God rest your souls. Oh and everytime I turn on Cartoon Network I think of you- the only adult I knew who only watched cartoons, lol. There are sooo many memories that I could mention right now and it breaks my heart that we can never make any new ones. You will always be remembered as a fun loving genuine person with so much unresolved talent and potential. Your legacy continues on. You were always there for me with an available shoulder to cry on- always such an amazing friend. You made me wanna be a better person. Thank you for that. Thanks for being such a kind human being. I'll miss you all day, everyday, bff. Keep an eye on us from up there! Te dua-always and forever.

Its so sad to have to write this to u and not be able to just go home to u..we miss u so much Baby? i promise to love and cherish our Daughter FOREVER and to instill all of your morals..even the ones we never agreed on :) and i promise to one day see u and have the family we talked so much about. everyday seems to get easier, yet so much harder! Nevaeh knows that her daddy is in Heaven with the Angels, and hes all better now...we wake every morning to see yer beautiful smile in our pictures..if only we could see u sitting in Nevaehs chair playin yer damn XBOX games...lol i really never thought the day would come that I would wish to see u doin that! but i miss u, i miss us..its so hard living without u but i know you are lookin down and watchin over yer "Fart Head" and yer "Juniper".
