Mrs. N. left quite an impression on me. Although not naturally the most gifted of her students - she encouraged me to work hard and exploit my public speaking talents. In her mind, there was no limit to what I could accomplish. She truly was an exceptional teacher. My heart breaks for her and her family.

Mrs. N was one of the most sweet and caring teachers I've known. I was so blessed to have been taught by her at Carl Sandburg. She always pushed us to do our best, in the most kind way, and always had a sweet smile and kind word.
My friend, Wendy, and I even sang a song at her daughters wedding. It was such an honor for two former students!
My condolences to her family.
She will be missed!! ❤

Mrs. Neddenriep was a wonderful teacher. I still remember many of the books we read in her class (8th grade). Her love of reading and teaching was very apparent. My condolences to her family and friends.

Maury and I are SO sorry and SO sad to hear of Marcia's passing. We have been friends and good neighbors for more than 40 years! Very often the four of us visited at our adjoining backyards. We went out to dinner not long ago, and were planning to celebrate both Gary and Maury's birthday (born on the same day!) together in 2017! May dear Marcia rest in peace in Heaven! You will be missed! Our condolences to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gary and the family.❤ From Lillian and Maury Chu

Gary and Family,
WE are so sorry for your loss. We know how much you loved her and how much she loved you! Just keep all those wonderful memories of the GOOD times in your thoughts and hearts.
There is a line from a poem I once saw that gave me comfort when I lost my parents-"She is not gone, She is just away"
You are all in our prayers, and hope to see you soon.

She was my 7th grade language arts teacher. She really enlightened me to the world and challenged my critical thinking skills. I was in her class on 9/11 and I remember her telling us that our world as we knew was going to change. She really made an impact in my life and made a true difference. My condolences to her entire family.

Condolences to her family. I remember her big candy jar and getting to get a big cinnamon bear or jolly rancher when we got something correct or were well behaved and polite. A teacher that you could tell really enjoyed her job. May she Rest In Peace.

I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Neddenriep was such a kind and wonderful teacher. I disliked reading until her eighth grade language arts class. She was the first teacher I had that chose texts that I could relate to and enjoy. She changed the world of reading for me. I am now a reading teacher and hope that I can instill that same love for literature that Mrs. Neddenriep gave to me.

Darling Marcia, Rest in Peace.
You have meant the world to our family, Mark (McClure) and I loved your teaching style! You helped our daughter, Stephanie and she NEVER forgot Mrs. Neddenreip and please get a "jolly rancher" for answering correctly!!
I was also the secretary at CSMS for a long time and loved seeing you and figuring out what you needed and gladly doing just that! I loved calling into your room and even the "toughest" 8th grade boys LOVED Mrs. Neddenreip! Your gentle, loving, kind ways won the day, always! Please set it all straight in heaven for the rest of us dear Marcia and make it easier for us to enter! With Love, Barbara
