I had the opportunity to work with Myrtle at Illinois Masonic for several years- She was an remarkable woman who had an intelligent sense of humor- Her love for life was admirable and the tenacity she displayed when faced with difficulties was an inspiration to all who knew her.- She was a courageous soul and I am glad to have known her.

I will always have memories of a sweet, giving soul, and I am thankful for the time I was given to know her. Working with her was a gift to be treasured. Her wit and wry sense of humor was a treat to behold. Such a petite person who was an absolute dynamo. Myrtle's kindness to my grandmother whenever
she saw her, will be cherished. I will miss you so very much. I'll miss our catch up phone calls with each other. Thank you Myrtle for your love and friendship. My heartfelt sympathy to family and friends. Adios mi amiga. emi

To the family of Myrtle: It was my
great joy to be a friend of Myrtle's
since............well, easily 50 years since I was a nursing student
at IMMC. I was a patient/friend of
Dr. Sid Kahn and came to know Myrtle
way back then. I loved her wit, her
kindness and her determination all
these years and especially the last
years of her life. She had an uphill
battle with her health, but managed
to face each day with grace and
strength. We kept in contact by phone and the last time was around
her birthday in January. I will miss her, but I know she is finally
in a place of joy and peace.
While I am sorry for your loss, we
can all appreciate her life and her
spirit. Shalom, my friend.
