I was one of Nancy's partners at Robbins Schwartz. Nancy was so quick, so smart, so energetic and diligent, that about a month after she came, I told the other partners that we were unbelievably lucky -- I actually said that I like felt like the awkwardest boy in high school who gets to go to prom with the homecoming queen. She was that good. When she retired we all missed her willingness to pitch in no matter how busy, the solid guidance she always freely gave to less experienced attorneys, and her unflagging good-judgment that was rooted in her basic decency and respect for everyone she worked with, client, colleague and adversary alike. We missed her when she left the firm and we will miss her all the more now. We are sorry for - and share what must be only a small measure of - your loss.
