Dr Miller delivered me and was our family Dr for as long as I can remember. Those were the days when a Dr really knew you and even made a house call once in a while. She was truly a kind, warm woman and Dr. Your loss is shared by the community!

To the Family of Dr Nora Miller,
thank you for sharing your mother/grandmother, for she was both caring and loving in her practice as she was in her life. Not only was she our Doctor and Friend she was someone that understood things about life and never failed to part that wisdom to her patients.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting her family and I do mean pleasure. For I noticed that same spirt in you as was in her, you are her legacy and her memories will always remind you of that.

Also Michael thanks for being so gracious to this old sailor (squid), and thank you all again for sharing this wonderful and caring person that a whole community loved dearly.

Dr. Miller was our family doctor. I learned a lot about caring for people from her. I never found another doctor like her - one of a kind. Our mom loved her and could tell her anything. I was blessed to visit with her this year and will always remember her lovely, gracious welcome. My prayers are with you, Barbara, Warren, and your families.

Our deepest sympathy to Dr Miller's family. Sorry we couldn't be there. Your mom was a great lady. She really helped me and gave me great advise when she delivered our triplets in 1968.
God bless her.

My sister and I were delivered by Dr. Miller and she also delivered one of my sons. I miss the simplicity of having one doctor for all needs. I even remember her making house calls when we were really sick. She was more like a friend of the family not just our doctor and pediatrician. My sympathies to Barbara and Warren

Fond memories of Dr. Miller for the entire Appelhans family. She delivered 3 of my younger brothers and she was the last Dr. to make house calls. She came to our home when my older brother and I had measles and chicken pox at the same time. Another time when we had no transportation. Such a dedicated, terrific lady. The Fox River Valley is a better place because of her and the many people she tended to during their illnesses. God bless her!

Dr. Miller had great compassion, and her patients loved her. She was especially sweet to children and to the elderly. Algonquin had the benefit of her brainpower, affection, and community service for many years. What a great role model, and what a great woman.

Dr. Miller quietly and thoroughly took care of my medical needs many years. She was a pioneer as a woman doctor with high qualifications. She always made me feel special and as if I was the only patient that she had and took time to care for my medical needs.
I will not be able to attend the funeral as I am having a knee replacement at Provena St. Joseph Hospital. I would have liked to personally be present. Elaine Rathjen

It brought tears to my eyes when I heard of Dr. Miller's passing. She was family doctor and pediatrician to three generations of our family. I remember her as soft spoken and kind, and always able to easily distract me when I had to have a shot so I never felt the needle. She was also a good friend to my mother. The next time I visit my mother I will visit Dr. Miller too. She was a wonderful doctor and a role model for all of us!

We are truly saddened by Dr. Millers passing. She brought my brother and I into this world some 40+ years ago, saw us every year there after, then shared our loss with the passing of my father and brother.

My mother and I would like to express our most heartfelt condolences. God be with Dr. Miller, a truly wonderful and giving person. We will miss her.

Dr. Miller was a wonderful person and a great doctor. She delivered my four kids. When our third child was born we had two girls and she know how much my husband wanted a boy. Well, we had a beauty baby boy..Dr. Miller played a trick on my husband and wrapped him in a pink blanket and took the baby to meet his dad. Jim was happy that the baby was a beautiful, healthy baby.
She said to him, check for all the finger and toes! He unwrapped the blanket and what a surprise!!! A boy!
Dr. Miller was a part of lives since 1964. I have told that loving story to many people. Always with love. My sympathy to her family.

Dr Nora set the bar high. I loved her ever so calm manner and the time and attention she always had for everyone. When she stitched up the right side of my face after a dog bite at the age of 17, she said I'd eventually need plastic surgery. For the 40 plus years since, I've been grateful for her talents and think of her often with appreciation. No plastic surgery needed, In fact at this point the other side could use a little lift to look as good! Thank you, Nora K.
