OOM PAUL KRUGER

Oom Paul Kruger, 80 years old, of Marengo, formerly of Hoffman Estates, passed away Monday, October 11, 2016 at Centegra Hospital in Woodstock. Born in Chicago, Paul was the son of the late Hans Rudolph and Lillian Irene (Foster) Kruger. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Marines. Paul married Nancy Carole Eastham on July 6, 1957 in Des Plaines, IL. Paul was a mechanical designer for Motorola for over 30 years. He was an amateur licensed ham radio operator, was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he loved owls. Paul is survived by his daughters Melody (John) Peterman of Marengo, Debbi (Dan) Goldberg of Marengo, Janet Kruger of Rock Falls, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son: Paul Lee, 3 sisters, 2 brothers. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m., a time of remembrance will follow at 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St, Harvard, IL 60033.
