Peter J. Klein Jr., age 91, of St. Charles, IL. Beloved husband of Ruth Klein, nee Olthof; loving father of Jeffrey (Pamela) Klein, Pamela (Paul) DeBoer, Scott (Patti) Klein, Melissa (John) Keller, and Christopher (Dawn) Klein; grandfather of Benjamin (Haley) Klein, Lenna (Luke) Wilson, Morghin (Michael) Gehl, Joseph (Chloe) Klein, Ryne (Heather) DeBoer, Brittany (Bobby) Voss, Tarynn (Andy) Brown, Mackenzie (Kyle) Cavanaugh, Maddie Klein, Cameron Keller, and Conner Keller; great-grandfather of 10; fond brother of Dr. James (Beth) Klein, and the late Marv (the late Joan) Klein; fond uncle of Doug, Shari, Brad, and Lauren; friend and relative of many.
Peter was a proud Korean War veteran, and spent his career in the trucking industry, retiring at age 62 to become the director of Providence Life Services Rest Haven in Palos Heights, IL. He was a follower of Jesus and committed to the church, serving as a deacon and elder at numerous churches over the course of his life.
