PETER SIDOR Obituary

WHEELING - Peter W. Sidor, Sr., 78, formerly of Gillett, WI, born May 19, 1943, passed away March 11, 2022, beloved husband, and best friend for over 22 years of Laura, nee Johnson; loving father of Maribeth (Leroy) Van Dien, Peter Sidor, Jr., Dannille Sidor, Brittney (Joe) Morgan and Alex Aynessazian; cherished grandfather of Addyson and Westley; dear uncle and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter G. and Helen, brother Tom, sisters Grace and Rita, nephews, Tom, and Hubert, and his friend and ex-wife Dodie. Pete is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked in construction for over 20 years as a blaster. In his spare time, he loved to fly R/C airplanes and was a member of the Blue Max R/C flying club in Buffalo Grove, IL, for over 10 years. Service and interment will be private. A celebration of life will be held later, TBD. In lieu of flowers, donations made to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
