Dear Sally and family. We are so very sorry about your mother's relatively sudden death. She was a remarkable lady. We will be making a donation to the Guelph Youth Music Centre in her memory.

Our Leader with the most wonderful hearty laugh will be missed by many. She was the best problem solver evahhhh and always put the SpeechLanguage Department needs as a TOP priority. Long ago - and I mean LONG ago- she hired me as the #3rd Speech Pathologist straight out of Grad. School !!!!!!! We worked side by side in a few buildings including Half Day which was close by to a great after school restaurant.
Phyllis was a terrific SLP and the students of District #73 all adored her,,,,,from her HIGH HAT weekly teachings, to inclusive services/services for every communication disorder we knew about in those days- to some we were just learning about. We all were blessed to be a part of her woven blanket of friendship - which I know will keep her warm with our prayers. ONE GREAT WOMAN !!!!!!! Love- Miss Joanne xxooo

I came to know Phyllis many years ago when I was the VHPD Officer Friendly at Hawthorn District 73. She was a wonderful woman and I had a great deal of respect for her. I have fond memories of her. My condolences to her family. RIP Mrs. Gross, and thank you.
