Dear Gaiser Family,

I'd like to offer my sincere condolence's to you in your sorrow.

I just read today in the St.James Bulletin that Richard has reached his eternal home. This was a surprize to me, but had just returned from out of State, and did not know about this dear man.

He was such a "presence" at St. James for so many years. Always there to assist others.

I last saw him on Holy Thursday when I dropped him off at his residence after Mass. It was pouring rain all evening and he felt that his "bike" wouldn't be safe out in that weather. He was so grateful for the ride, and apologetic for needing the assistance! No need for that since I was on my way back to Palatine. What an independent man!

So many of us will miss seeing him around that neighborhood.

Prayers and Blessings to all of you, Joan Eyerly-Yetter

Hardly a movie was ever shown at Luther Village that Richard was not involved. He was in charge of the video projector and the popcorn machine to make our viewing enjoyable. His presence in our midst will be sorely missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Richie as a fellow usher at St. James Parish in Arlington Heights. He always had a smile on his face, always extended his hand to say hello. He was always there when needed to do extra duty on holidays and special events at St. James. He will be missed.
