This is heart wrenching and so shocking. I can't imagine losing a father and husband so early in life. Being one of Sarah Kate's roommates in college, it was evident how Mr. Hubbard was such a genuine & caring individual with so much love for his daughters.
Sarah.... know that you will ALWAYS be "daddy's little girl". He may not be here in person, but know he will be looking over you. Looking over all of you! My deepest sympathies for Mrs. Hubbard, Patricia, Sarah Kate, Allsion and the rest of the loving family that Mr. Hubbard had. He will be deeply missed!

As a fellow graduate in the Class of 1971, I've only seen Dick once since graduation - at a party at George Barthel's studio a couple years ago. It was a pleasure seeing and talking to him again and he had not changed - still a kind, thoughtful and genuinely nice man. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
