Richard Shak Obituary

Richard Jerome Shak of Round Lake Beach Friends may visit with the family of Richard Jerome Shak, 41, from 6 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Justen's Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N. Rosedale Court, Round Lake. Born Dec. 13, 1965, in Chicago, to Richard O. and Paula (nee Muttschall) Shak, he died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007. Richard attended Round Lake High School, graduating with the class of 1983. He was active in baseball throughout his school years. A bartender by trade, he had worked in the Round Lake area at several restaurants. He was a former employee of Kristoff's Entertainment Center and World of Fun. His interests included music and guitars, especially Beatles music. Survivors include his parents of Round Lake Beach; a sister, Janel (Rennie) Jimdar of Round Lake Beach; a nephew, Rennie Jr.; two nieces, Isabella and Sophia; and several aunts and uncles. I don't know what to say except I am so sorry you and your Family have to go through this. I have said many prayers for you and your Brother Janel. I know he is at peace with the Lord.
