Richard A. Sunde, 83, of Hoffman Estates. Beloved husband of Barbara Kay Sunde, nee Nelson for 62 years. Devoted father of JoAnn Snyder, Janet (Ed) Deal, Jaqulynn (Trip) Burlingame, Jeaninne (Tom) Fournier and the late Richard Sunde, Jr. Loving grandfather of Jonathan (Jaa) Snyder, Chief Petty Officer Donald (Mallory) Deal, Andy Deal, Alex Deal, Jessica Burlingame, Sarah Burlingame. Loving Great Grandfather of Sean Snyder, Penny Snyder, Wyatt Deal and Corbin Deal. Cherished son of the late Andrew and Virginia Sunde. Caring brother of Valerie (the late Jay) Corn and Andy (Ann Marie) Sunde. Dear uncle of Karen Corn, Mary Sunde, Andrew Sunde and many more. He was a dear friend to many people. Richard joined the Navy from 1956 - 1959. He worked for Argonne National Laboratory for 26 years, United Nations Relief and Work Agency in Vienna, Austria from 1980 - 1984, Owner and Operator of Equity Appraisals. Richard attended Harper College and IIT. The family is grateful for the caregivers from Amita Hospice Cynthia Downey, Alma and Assisting Hands Jovanna Casilia and Vivianna Martenez.
