It seems like an eternity since I was last able to speak with Pastor Linstrom. He was my Pastor at St. Paul´s Ev. Lutheran Church in Richmond Indiana. I was the choir director during part of his pastorate there. I have worked with other pastors around the country. He was the most intelligent, organized, kindest pastor I have ever worked with as a choir director. I learned a great deal from him about the church, people, theology, respect, and life, especially how to care for and relate to people. I still rely upon things I learned from him in those years.

I remember a visit to his home and church with my late husband Kurt Tunnell. I´m so sorry to hear of your loss. His grandma Faye Linstrom was related to bob linstrom.

Remembering a faithful servant who was one of my predecessors at St Paul´s in Richmond and whose signature on my ordination certificate often brought him to mind over the years. Peace and strength to all of you.

It saddens me beyond the ability to express that this extraordinary minister, community leader, father, and friend has left us. His wisdom changed my life over 55 years ago. His leadership guided me beyond many crossroads in that time, both at the beginning of our professional friendship and well into the too many years in which we had no direct contact. My view of life in the church was very positively influenced and my Christian life was without doubt rescued my his instruction and leadership. As a teacher, witness, colleague, and friend there has been none greater. I anticipate the reunion with him, Marcene, and the rest of his family in the next life in Paradise.
