ROY ARTHUR KNUTSON

PROSPECT HEIGHTS - Roy Arthur Knutson was born on January 23, 1922 in Chicago to Arthur A. and Mary (nee Larson) Knutson. He died Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Wheeling. Mr. Knutson was a computer programmer for Illinois Grain Corporation and Chicago Metallic before retiring in 1983. He enjoyed golf, playing cards, all sports and spending time with his family. Roy is survived by his children, Dennis Knutson, Diana (Francis) Laux and Gary (Susan) Knutson; his grandchildren, Katy (Ray) Albin, Kevin Laux, Brandon, Kyle (Lyndsay), and Steven Knutson; and his great-grandchildren, Nathan and Zachary Purington and Julia and Andrew Albin. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Edith (nee Werlin) Knutson; granddaughter, Robin (Tim) Purington; and his siblings, Gladys, Malcolm, Marvel and Earl. Visitation Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 12:00 pm until time of Funeral Service, 2:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
