Dear Ruth,
I'm heartbroken that you have left us so soon. I will truly miss your lovely smile, your positive and cheery deposition, your passion for singing, your recitations of a favorite poem or a passage from a Shakespere play and your many stories of teaching English courses at the high school and college levels.
I will truly miss your earthly presence, but I have no doubt that you have already found a place in the soprano section of the Heavenly Choir singing your favorite oratorios and opera choruses for all eternity.
Be at rest and peace now, my dear, dear friend.
Love, Brenda
