Ruth E. Doerrfeld of Bensenville Funeral services for Ruth E. Doerrfeld (nee Priebe), 84, will be private. Born Nov. 11, 1918, in Chicago, she died Friday, June 27, 2003, in Elmhurst. Interment will also be private. Mrs. Doerrfeld, an artist, was the wife of the late George Doerrfeld; the mother of Doug (Karen), Curtis (Cindy) and Nancy (Columbus); the grandmother of Shay, Keisha, Adam and Amanda; the sister of William Priebe; and the great-grandmother of two. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Oscar, Clarence and Arthur Priebe. Funeral arrangements were made by the Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Road, Bensenville.
