Ruth was one of my dearest friends since childhood. Our fathers were in business together. We both had one brother, and we were often all four together. She and I were in the Elgin High School class of 1953 together. After college we even double dated a few times together. I will never forget Ruth's sweet and loving nature. She was precious!
