To Uncle Sam -

God saw you getting tired
And the cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you
And whispered, "Come to Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away.

Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.

That gold heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best!

I will allways cherish the times we shared. I allways look up to you and I love you my brother. The angles they grew lonely and they took you. Now we are lonely too.

My Dearest of Friends in the Bavido Family: Mr. Bavido had a spine of steel, a heart of gold and he was a man of complete integrity. It's been my honor to know him, his beloved wife and four children for almost all of my life, since the young age of 4. What memories I will always cherish of growing up together in Rogers Park with your family as our neighbors. Mr. and Mrs. Bavido watched and encouraged us as we grew up together from attending kindergarten, church, scouts, sports at Pottwattomie Park, and later getting married and having families. Sam Bavido and the entire family have my sincerest condolences during this time of your loss. Sincerely, Dan Ronan
