Please accept my most sincere condolences for this most senseless and horrible loss of life. Mere words cannot express the grief I feel for you all.
While we are Jew and Gentile, we all worship the same God. None of us can know of His plans for Sheri nor Rachel. May you find peace and hope in the promise of Jesus that He has prepared "a place for you... that you also may be where I am." (John 14:3)
Sheri and Rachel are at peace now with God, without anxiousness for anything, in the presence of the Almighty God.

I was a recent graduate from college and she gave me the opportunity to work with her in the HR department of Andersen. Outside of having known her from work, we would periodically see and greet each other as we dropped off our children at the same daycare, or see each other getting off the train. Both of my daughters knew Rachel. Both have express sadness and disbelief that they will not see Rachel anymore. I'm so sad about what happened to Sheri and Rachel. I first heard about it on the Tuesday 10 o'clock news and didn't want to believe it was the same Sheri that worked at Andersen. I was afraid to come to work the next day. My deepest sympathies go to out to her family, Eric Dean and friends.
I wish I had the chance to have gotten to know her better. It is so tragic and inconceivable.

I was fortunate enough to work with Sheri many years ago as I was just starting my career at Andersen. Sheri was not only a mentor but a wonderful friend.
This horrible tragedy has shocked us all. Sheri was loved and respected by many, and for those of us privileged to know her, she touched ur lives. We will miss her!
Though it brings little comfort now, Rachel is with her mom and they will always be together. My heart goes out to the family!

I saw Sheri Sherer almost everyday while working for Andersen out of the 225 office. She was always so pleasant. I recall a time she was waiting at the Reception desk with this beautiful little girl. I asked Sheri, "who is this little darlin". Rachel just smiled. I'm confident that Rachel and Sheri are both smiling down at us now. My sincerest condolences to their family.

I was fortunate enough to meet with Sheri Monday at work. She had six pictures of Rachel up around her office. We talked about how beautiful Rachel was and Sheri commented how she is such "a ham" and so fun to be with. They had a wonderful 4th of July weekend together. Sheri's eyes shone of love toward her daughter, and she was so happy of the time they spent together over the July 4th week. I have know Sheri at Andersen for 13 years, but Monday was the first time I ever sat down to meet with her and talked with her. Maybe the message was for me to communicate what a wonderful caring mother Sheri was, and what a wonderful happy time she had on her vacation.

May God's peace be with you during this most difficult time. I knew your daughter, Sheri, from Arthur Andersen, when she hired me in 1988. We worked together later in the Human Resources Department when she was a recruiter. She was a wonderful person; despite the work load, she was always upbeat, positive, happy. Sheri used to encourage us in our work even when things got tough. I was glad to hear that she had been appointed as head of Human Resources; she would have brought a very compassionate touch to that role.
