STANLEY A. GLOW
Stanley A. Glow of Lake Barrington since 2005 Stanley A. Glow, 94, formerly of Evanston, Ill., passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2011. Services will be scheduled in Toledo, Ohio, at a later date. He was born Dec. 16, 1916, in Toledo, Ohio, to Mary and Stanley Glowczewski. Graduating with degrees from Eastern Michigan and the University of Michigan, he taught at Michigan State and Evanston Township High School. It was there he was department chair for Industrial Education, and later was superintendent of Building and Grounds. He was a devoted family man and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He lived to support the grandchildren's activities no matter where their interests took them. Survivors include his son, Judd (Margie) Glow of Cary; daughter, Marcia Glow of Los Angeles; and grandchildren, Eric (Kim) Glow, Meghan Glow and Alessandra Toresanni. Stanley was the beloved husband for 69 years to the late Dorothy Glow. well stash, you made it to heaven with dorothy. i told you not to beat me there. thanks for all the stories about the farm, marcia's and st. judes life, alessandras' movies. tell your grandchildren to get busy so that the glows never lose the farm. what am i going to do. is there anyone to tell me more stories about carlinville? ha! ha. good luck ole buddy. i miss you already. jack and eileen mahoney
