Stanley Hulke

Stanley Hulke of Elgin Services for Stanley Hulke, 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. Burial will be in Dundee Township Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born April 26, 1918, in Courtland, Minn., to William and Dora Todt Hulke, he died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Elgin. He is survived by his wife Ruth, whom he married April 2, 1948; children, Terrance (Sharyn) of Arizona, Charles (Bonnie) of Streamwood and Patricia of Elgin; grandchildren, Gregory of Elgin, Charles Jr. of Delaware, Erin of Elgin and Samantha of Arizona; step-grandchildren, Daniel and Ryan Wheeler of Streamwood; great-grandchildren, Teddi Anna of Delaware and Joey and Tabitha of Arizona; brothers, Loren "Larry" of Iowa and Richard (Margie) of Elgin; sisters, Helen Walters of Plano, Marcella Hulke of Indiana, Larraine (Loyal) Humbracht of Indiana, Delores Sterba of St. Charles, Dorothy Olson of Elgin and Ruth Pagoda of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Renee; brothers, Irvin, Raymond, Walter, William Jr., Wesley and Delbert; and sisters, Erna and Leta.
