SUSAN NELSON Obituary

GENEVA - Susan A. Nelson, age 69, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, after a long illness. She was born December 28, 1946 in Chicago and graduated high school in Downer's Grove, IL. Susan is survived by her daughter, Alissa (Jason) Labroscian, of Plainfield, IL, three grandchildren; Alexandria, Kaiden, and Savannah, and her loving sister, Luella Eisenhammer, of Downer's Grove, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Nelson, and her parents, Otto and Vlasta Eisenhammer. Susan was an active member of Geneva Lutheran Church where she served on many committees. She was formerly employed by Delnor Community Hospital as a medical transcriptionist and NIU at Fermilab, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, June 12 from 2 to 7:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State Street (Rte 38) Geneva. Funeral Monday, June 13 at 11:00 A.M.,Geneva Lutheran Church 301 S. 3rd Street Geneva. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva. Contributions may be made to the Geneva Lutheran Church. For information please call the funeral home, 630-232-7337.
