Dear Wickstroms,
I just want you all to know the Blackburn's are all in your corner. We have lost our 2nd father. From the earlest days of meeting in Roselle, to the days when Terry would yell across neighborhoods for Ryan to come home for dinner, to when my father and he would couch our basketball teams, to the times when he would pick Ryan and I up from Gymnastics, and to all who know that when he drives- 'mister toads wild ride'. I am a better man for being raised by him. Kathy, Ryan, Katie, and Holly we are here for you! I love you guys so very much! You are in my prayers.

NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS TO KATHY AND FAMILY FOR THE LOSS OF TERRY. WILL NEVER FORGET THE XMAS GATHERINGS WE SHARED YEARS AGO, AND THOUGH OUR LIFE PATHS HAVE TAKEN US IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS...WHEN WE DID SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN, IT WAS LIKE NO TIME HAD PASSED. OUR PRAYERS OUR WITH ALL OF YOU

Some more of Terry's Tucson family wants to express how much he will be missed by all of us. His friendship goes beyond the norm - it was family. Just one recent example - insisting on making it to our wedding recently even though dealing with his pain. The friendship and support that he and Kathy have shown to all of my family for so many years bares out the true meaning of what friends are all about. He will surely be missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to Kath and all the kids & grandkids. Hey Ol' Buddy, I told you the song is right - only the good die young... Love, Mike & Gayle Waling and Family

Dear Wickstrom Family:

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. We all loved Terry and have favorite memories of the times we shared with him. Mine began with our Marine Corps service and continued through classes together at the Chicago City College. It didn't end there; we spoke on the phone occasionally and visited with each other over the years. In fact, he always made it a point to call me on the Marine Corps Birthday and I looked forward to his call.

Like so many others that knew Terry, I am a better person for it. His legacy includes his devotion to family, friends, the Marine Corps and causes that would help others. He will always be remembered.

My condolences to Kathy and family on our loss of Terry, beloved husband and father. During the time we shared toghter in the service I found Terry to be a honest and kind person with malice towards none. I have heard that Terry was an avid golfer, being one mtself for the last six decades I had looked forward to good times with Terry on a golf course. A couple of years ago I lost a good golfing friend under the same conditions, he was always late for our tee time. At the funeral I told his wife that Bob and I will once again play golf together, at that time Bob will just be waiting for me on the number one tee box. I now look forward to that time with Terry. While we all always wanted to play at the "Masters" in Agusta, Ga., next time we will truly be playing the "Masters" course. David P. Spiegel...
