I'm another daughter of Pat/Paul Tiernan, (whom lived across the street from Violet). My daughter had a son, and we'd occasionally take Jordan over to see Violet. She enjoyed him so much. We had such nice visits with her, and she never wanted to see us leave. She would kid and joke around with everyone, she will surely be missed.

We came to know Violet when she lived across the street from us. Violet always showed concern for Paul and I. She was sharp as a tack, very active, and had a positive attitude about everything. We enjoyed visiting with her. We would talk about the beautiful artwork she did, her crocheting, and let's not forget about playing a game of dominoes now and then. Violet was very appreciative of the treats I would take her when I baked. She also dearly loved the flowers we would take to her.

I don't know which showed more brilliance, Violet's face or the Christmas tree I made her last year. Violet was like a Mother to me.

Violet is not gone, she made a special place in our hearts, we will carry with us for all of our days.

With extended sympathy,
