A Celebration Remembering the Life of Felicia Nyree Harmon Bishop Garrett, of Talladega, Alabama, will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Talladega Memorial Gardens with Pastor Clarence Henderson officiating. There will be a public viewing for Mrs. Garrett on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2-7 p.m. at S.M. Goodson Funeral Home Chapel. Professional services entrusted to S.M. Goodson Funeral Home and Crematory-Talladega. Felicia Nyree Harmon Bishop Garrett was born in Talladega, Alabama on November 25, 1973, to the late Shirley Tuck Harmon and the Late Shadrach Harmon Sr. Felicia accepted Christ at an early age attending Mount Zebulon A.F.M Church of God, Talladega, Alabama. She loved to sing and was active in the choir. In later years she united with Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Munford, Alabama where Reverend Clarence Henderson Sr. is pastor. Felicia attended Graham Elementary School and graduated from Talladega High School. She also graduated from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Finance. Felicia also attended Central Alabama Community College majoring in Cosmetology. She worked many years at Walmart in Talladega Alabama. Felecia was a very outgoing person who loved arts and crafts, spending time with her family, enjoying life and having a good time. Felicia met and married Frank Bishop and to this union two children were born. She later was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Garrett on July 11,2020. Felicia went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Shadrach Harmon Sr., her mother, Shirley Ward, and her daughter, Lataucha Bishop. Felicia leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband; Willie Garrett, Talladega, Alabama, A son Lazabien Bishop, Talladega Alabama, a brother Shadrach Harmon Jr, Birmingham Alabama; a sister Laquita Harmon of Pensacola Florida; stepmother, Emma Harmon of Talladega, Alabama. She also leaves two nephews Jalon Parker, Anniston, Alabama, and Kayen Harmon, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, two nieces: Jeniya Buchanan& Diana Carmichael both of Pensacola, Florida.
