Gavin Jerome Havis

Celebration of Life for Mr. Gavin Jerome Havis, age 25, will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at 12:00 Noon, at Liberty Christian Church, Harpersville, AL. Interment will commence in Lilly Rhoden | Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, Childersburg, AL. Visitation will be held Friday, October 1st, 2021 1:00PM - 7:00PM at the Funeral Home. Masks required for all attending services. Gavin Jerome Havis' earthly journey began on November 16, 1995 to the parentage of Debbie Crawford Wright and Timothy Havis. Gavin accepted Christ at an early age, as his Lord and Savior and united with World Changers of Childersburg, AL. Gavin was gifted with music skills and served as the church musician. As a youth he was educated in the Shelby and Talladega County Systems. He was a part of the Childersburg Marching Tiger Band. While attending Thompson High School he was a part of the athletic department where he played on the football team. Gavin departed this walk of life on September 25, 2021 under the care of UAB Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his step father, James F. Wright, brother, Jacaylon M. Crawford, great grandparents, Virgil and Mary Jeffries. His love will forever be remembered and cherished by his loving mother, Overseer Debbie L. Wright of Childersburg AL; loving father, Timothy Havis of Sylacauga, AL; loving son, Legend Y. Havis; one sister, Breona Johnson of Sylacauga, AL; his loving grandmothers, Pastor Billie Crawford of Childersburg, AL; and Cora (Henry) Howell of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
