Funeral service for Henry Earl Sasser, 63, will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Tommy Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Mr. Sasser died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dot Sasser, and step-mother, Sue Sasser. Mr. Sasser enjoyed driving his bus 20-44 for B B Comer Memorial School and doing maintenance at the Quality Inn. He loved his Lord. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, June Sasser; two daughters, Kim Sasser (Chris) Bagwell, Rachael Sasser (Rickey Jr.) Matherson; four grandchildren, Shane Bagwell, Taylor Sasser Bagwell, Joe Hardy, Noah Sasser Abbott; brother, Richard (Jennifer) Sasser; step-sister, Susan Barnett; and two sister-in-laws, Joyce Collins, Elaine Taylor. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Shane Bagwell, Taylor Bagwell, Joe Hardy, Noah Abbott, Tim Offord and Phillip Cosper. Honorary pallbearers will be the bus drivers of BB Comer Memorial School, Jack Jackson and the Transportation Dept of Talladega County Board of Education.
