Quinteria Meadows Obituary

Ms. Quinteria Rashell Meadows, affectionately known as "QT," was born on March 16, 1989, in Alexander City, Alabama. She departed this life on February 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Quinteria was a proud graduate of B.B. Comer Memorial High School, Class of 2007. Following high school, she furthered her education by attending cosmetology school, demonstrating her creativity and passion for helping others look and feel their best. For thirteen dedicated years, QT served faithfully as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. Her career in healthcare reflected her compassionate spirit and her natural ability to care for others with patience, kindness, and professionalism. QT was known for her vibrant personality and infectious smile. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and being the life of every gathering. Her presence brought energy and joy wherever she went. A devoted fan of Auburn University athletics, she proudly cheered "War Eagle" at every opportunity. She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Meadows; her grandparents, Willie Lue and Randolph Benson; and Vera Mae and Randolph Meadows. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her beloved son, JaDarrius Pope of Sylacauga, Alabama; her mother, Brenda (Eddie) Meadows of Sylacauga, Alabama; her brother, Tavares (Latoya) Lauderdale of Goodwater, Alabama; her sister, Bolander (Chris) Bradford of Sylacauga, Alabama; her uncles, Randolph (Jeraldine) Benson, John Shealey, and David (Diane) Benson; her aunts, Mittie Ann (Mason) Hall, Jessie (James) Robinson, Irene (James) Tucker, Helen (Terry) Adamson, Josephine (Willie) Hugley, and Stephanie Meadows; thirteen nieces and nephews, two great-nieces, one great-nephew, and a host of devoted cousins and friends. Though her earthly journey was brief, Quinteria's love, laughter, and spirited heart will forever remain in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
