Shirley Juanita Griffith

Funeral services for Shirley Juanita Griffith, 73, will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Four Mile Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to services. Mrs. Griffith passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham. A resident of Jacksonville for most of her life and lifelong member of Hatcher Avenue Baptist Church, she retired with her husband to Logan Martin Lake in 1998. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles W. Griffith of Talladega; son and daughter-in-law Charles Ray and Phyllis Griffith of Talladega; two grandchildren, Jeremy Griffith of Hartselle and Kelly (Andy) Hartsfield of Talladega; brother Jerry (Joyce) McCurry of Jacksonville; and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She is greeted by her parents, Howard and Georgia McCurry. Pallbearers will be Ray Milam; Shane McCurry; Bobby Raulerson; Doug Parker; Vaughn Williams; and Bradley Williams.
