Tom Bleick

Mr. Tom Bleick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his parents Eugene and Dorothy Bleick. He passed away on April 9, 2022. He was a resident of Talladega, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia most of his life. Tom Bleick was a member of the 1961 class of Talladega High School. He excelled in sports and was awarded letters of recognition in many sports in which he participated. He was quarterback for the Talladega High School football team in the late 50's and early 60's. He went on to play football for Georgia Tech until his graduation. During the Viet Nam War, Tom served in the Alabama National Guard and was based in Fort Ord, California. He continued to play professional football for the then Baltimore Colts and Atlanta Falcons. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Mary Luker and brother Jim Bleick (Mary). He is also survived by his nieces Amy Robinson and Allison Bleick Tucker (Matt) and nephews James Bleick and Matthew Bleick. He had several grand nieces and nephews. Mr. Bleick will have a private family burial. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice or The Georgia Tech Athletic Association, The Alexander-Tharpe Fund, 150 Bobbie Dodd Way N.W., Atlanta, Ga. 30332-0455.
