Tommy Andrew Boothe

Tommy Andrew Boothe, age 75, of Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away on October 23, 2025. Tom was born on May 3, 1950 to Walter Andrew and Jeanette Limbaugh Boothe. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Peggy Culver Boothe, his four children, Jodi Boothe of Sylacauga (Brady and wife Kalyan Gamel, Kristen Gamel); Leah Boothe Lewis and husband Chris of Pensacola, Florida, (Abe and Samuel); Marc Boothe and wife Tiffani of Hoover (Hayes Boothe, Sophia Grace Collins and Cannon Collins); Matt Boothe and girlfriend Hannah Allegro of Sylacauga (Maggie Boothe and Dawson Hamilton); sister, Nancy Boothe Powers of Woodridge, Illinois, aunt, Carolyn Ziegler of Sylacauga, nieces Tracy Powers and Ginger-Rose Krueck and nephew J.J. Culver and wife Rachel. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, John Boothe, and his brothers in law, Jimmy Culver and Dale Powers. Tom was a 1968 graduate of Sylacauga High School and lifelong resident of Sylacauga. Alongside his father, and brother John, Tom began working at Boothe and Sons Appliance in 1968 and continued the legacy with his own children until his death. Memorial services were held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga with Pastor Lenny Arnold officiating. The family received visitors from 1-2pm with a service following at 2pm at the Radney-Smith Chapel. A procession followed the service to Fayetteville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service were David Blackmon, Robert Brown, Tommy Craig, Steve Gordon, Wayne Gray, Bruce Lee, Charlie Price, Bill Stevens, Tommy Veazey, and Sammy Wade. Honorary pallbearers for the service were the members of the Alabama Lighthouse Brigade and Tom's classmates from the Class of 1968, Monty Bain, Mike Guy, Tom Hutchinson, Peter Paul Sarvis and Jim Stockham.
