Tyrone Hardesty Obituary

A Homegoing Celebration Remembering the Life of Mr. Tyrone G. Hardesty, Jr., 35, of Atlanta, will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. at S. M. Goodson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. A public viewing for Mr. Hardesty will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. at S.M. Goodson Funeral Home. Professional services entrusted to S.M. Goodson Funeral Home and Crematory-Talladega. On October 12, 1987, Tyrone Gregory Hardesty, Jr. began his earthly journey when he was born to the union of Sherry and Tyrone Hardesty, Sr. in Fort McClellan, Alabama. At an early age, Mr. Hardesty confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and always kept him close to his heart. While residing in Georgia, he attended New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia. Mr. Hardesty received his formal education from the Birmingham City School System and the Atlanta Job Corps. He was employed as a forklift operator for various warehouse companies in the local area. Music was Mr. Hardesty's passion. He always had high ambitions of one day becoming a musician and rap artist. There is no doubt he would excel in this aspiration as he lived his life to the fullest as a musician and rap artist who went by the name of "So Fly" and later changed his name to "Omerta Fly". Mr. Hardesty performed in multiple community services such as Hosea Feed the Hungry, a voter pole volunteer, and buying snacks from the ice cream trucks for the children in the neighborhood. He really loved his Talladega and Atlanta Community. None of this could have been possible without the continued support from his NUMBER ONE FAN which was his mother, Sherry, whom he loved and cherished with all his heart. Mr. Hardesty was a very family oriented young man who enjoyed entertaining and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was always so full of life, and everyone loved him instantaneously. Because of his likable personality and good attitude, Mr. Hardesty was so easy to love. On Thursday, December 22, 2022, Mr. Hardesty traded his 35-year earthly journey for eternal rest reuniting with his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Purnell Hardesty, Sr., Nona and Leroy McKinney, Alexander and Dorothy Booze, and Ms. Connie Sue McKinney. Mr. Hardesty leaves behind a legacy of love, music, and memories to forever be cherished by his loving and devoted parents, Sherry McKinney Malone and Tyrone Gregory Hardesty, Sr.; his father, Rodney D. Brown; bonus father, Kevin A. Booze; daughter, Siaani Zaire Lakes; sister, Diamone Shecore Miles; grandmother, Leatrice Brown; special grandmother, Susie Woolridge; bonus sisters, Lonisha Brown and Chelsey Hardesty; brother, Kevin Alexander Booze II; bonus brothers, Kendell Booze, Ryan Hardesty, and Elonte Allen; special sister, Laneika Calhoun; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Mr. Hardesty will truly be missed by all the hearts he has touched and lives he has encountered. S.M. Goodson Funeral Home and Crematory Talladega Sheffton M Goodson 256.480.3177
