In Loving Memory of Ronald Eugene Holder
Ronald Eugene Holder, age 73, of Kalispell, Montana, passed away surrounded by family on November 7, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother, Ronald lived a life defined by a strong work ethic, unwavering love, and deep-rooted values.
Ron was born and raised in Eureka, Montana, where he met the love of his life, Donna. The two were married in 1971 and shared nearly 54 wonderful years together. They built a beautiful life together while raising two children, Josh and Jodi. In 1981, the family moved to Kalispell, where Ron opened his own auto repair shop, Ron's Alignment. Through hard work and dedication, he built it into a successful business that he proudly owned and operated until his retirement in 2015. Ron was a man of integrity and humility. He found joy in the simple things-time spent with family, the beauty of Montana's outdoors, and the satisfaction of a job well done. He had a love for Corvettes and took great pride in collecting and restoring rifles, passions that reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship. Ron was also a trap shooter and enjoyed the sport with his many friends. Ron was known for his warm smile and generous heart. He was the kind of man who would lend a hand to anyone in need and could fix just about anything.
Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Donna; his son, Josh Holder (Angela); his daughter, Jodi (Andy Masa); his cherished grandsons, Caden, Cole (Ellie), Cooper, and Cage; his great-granddaughter, Lainey, who brought him immense joy and a future great-grandson that he was very excited to meet. Lastly his faithful dog and hiking partner, Charlie. He is also survived by his mother, Jackie, and his brothers, Stan (Betty) and Mike (Lori). He was preceded in death by his father, John.
Ron's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the family he held so dear. His memory will be treasured always, and he will be deeply missed.
A memorial service to celebrate Ron's life will be held at Canvas Church in Kalispell on Tuesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. All who knew and loved Ron are welcome to attend.
