Arnom Cheek Obituary

Arnom "Wayne" New Whiteland Cheek Arnom "Wayne" Cheek, 81 of New Whiteland, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

He was born on June 30, 1943 in Franklin, Indiana to Arnom Cheek and Ada (Tarter) Cheek. He married Roberta Frances (White) Cheek on June 25, 1984. She lovingly survives. Also surviving is daughter, Beverly (Doug) Brownfield and son, Jason Suttles; step-children, Betty (Rick) Frazier, Doreen Mitchell, Donald (Ileana) Settles, Jr., Brian (Chasity) Settles, Donna (Doug) Lanahan and Kimberly T.R. (Scott) Livorno; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by his parents; brothers, Paul Cheek and Joseph Cheek and sister, Allie Ruth Grooms and son-in-law, Ed Mitchell.

Wayne was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1961 to 1965.

He was employed as a Plumber with Hamm Plumbing.

A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Visitation for Family and Friends will be on Saturday, February 8th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
