Curtis G. Myers

Curtis Grover Myers, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 19, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on March 18, 1939, in Miami County, Indiana, to Max and Elizabeth (See) Myers.

Curtis graduated from Chili High School in 1957 and attended IU-Indianapolis. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1957 to 1961. Following his military service, Curtis dedicated nearly four decades as Plant Manager at the George F. Cram Company in Indianapolis, retiring in 1999.

On December 27, 1964, Curtis married Sue Smith at the Chili Methodist Church, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love and devotion. He was a committed member of LifePoint Church and found joy in listening to Gaither Music and singing in church choirs.

Curtis was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees, a love he passed on to his granddaughter Emily. He was an active participant in his community, including the Greenwood Rotary and Edgewood Little League. Curtis was also an IHSAA Basketball Official and enjoyed coaching his sons' basketball and baseball teams. He cherished time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; sons Larry (Andrea) and Brent (Aimee); granddaughters Megan Gettle, Emily Thomas (Andy), Anna Myers, Graciella Myers, Sadie Myers, and Eliza Myers; great-grandchildren Layla Gettle, Deacon Gettle, Max Gettle, Noah Thomas, and Charlie Myers; brothers Fred Myers and Kent Myers; sister Sharon Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.

A memorial calling will be held Monday, November 24th from 9:00 am - 11:30 am.at Lifepoint Church 8540 Combs Road, Indianapolis, Indiana with a memorial service starting at 12:00pm.
