Karen Weber Obituary

Karen (Wetherell) Weber, 73 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully at Franciscan Hospice House on Thursday, October 9, 2025h. She was born November 9, 1951 in Beach Grove, Indiana to the late Paul Daniel Wetherell and Helen (Hollingsworth) Wetherell. She was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and Indiana Wesleyan University.

She worked at Eli Lily & Company Pharmaceutical, Meridian Insurance Company, Fairhaven Foundation and Innisbrook in Clearwater Florida.

She liked to crochet chemo caps for people who were sick, and blankets for her family. She served the Franciscan ministry as a volunteer in Guest Services, was involved in her church, started the Senior Euchre club, and was in a women's small group bible study. More than anything she loved being with her daughters and grandchildren. Family was very important to her. Her life's purpose and meaning was devoted to her family. It was evident in all she did. Karen also enjoyed traveling and cruises. She had been a member of Job's Daughters.

She is preceded in death by her mother Helen and father Paul and brothers Daniel and Steve Wetherell.

She is survived by her daughters Wendy Weber of Greenwood, IN and Kyla Pine and her son-in-law Nikolaos Pine of Indianapolis, IN, her grandchildren Gracie and George Horton, and Luca Pine.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions may be made in her name to Fairhaven Foundation at www.fairhavenfoundation.org.
