Linda Hine Obituary

Linda Sue Hine, 75 of Franklin, passed away at her residence on Monday evening, January 10, 2022.

She was born on July 22, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Edward Merritt Alexander and Velma Vernice (Skaggs) Alexander. She married Raymond F. Hine on April 10, 1972. Linda is survived by their children, Tawnya Risner; Tracy Bullion (Dale); Todd Hine (LeAnne); Jennifer Edwards (James) and Erin Hine-Hampton. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and one sister, Janice Alexander. She was preceded in passing by her parents and sisters, Barbara Parker and Donna Padgett.

Linda was a graduate of Arlington High School in Indianapolis. She graduated from Weaver Airline School in Kansas City, Missouri.

Linda worked at Dow Chemical and later worked as an Underwriter in the Mortgage/Title industry at Core Title. She also owned a catering business, Creative Catering.

She was a 20 year member of the Elks Lodge No. 1818. Linda was a loving mother and loving wife. She was adored by her grand kids and a great friend to all.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a future date to be announced. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin are assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin Elks Lodge charities of donor's choice, P.O. Box 354, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
