Linda I Sayre

Linda I. Sayre, 82, passed away peacefully in the morning on Friday, December 5, 2025. She was born in Winchester, Indiana on February 10, 1943 and was the younger of two children of Ralph & Mary Kircher. Linda grew up in the town of Farmland, Indiana, where she met her husband-to-be David Sayre. Linda graduated beauty school in 1962 and she married David in 1963. The couple moved to Indianapolis and then Greenwood, Indiana in 1967, raising a family together in the same house all the way to the present. She is survived by David and their four children, Patrick, Aaron, Sean, and Lucas, as well as by two grandchildren, Nicholas and McKenna. A showing will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 12, at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, with the funeral to follow at noon.
