STE. GENEVIEVE - Avery Shearin, 86, of Ste. Genevieve passed away on October 17, 2006 at his residence. Preceded by parents, Eli John and Stella (Anderson) Shearin, wife, Opal (Graham) Shearin, son, Paul Shearin, daughter, Judy Shearin, and eight brothers.
Survived by children, Mary and Diane Wright, Donald Shearin, Glenda Pride (Frank), John Shearin (Bernice), Debbie Reissing (JR), Carla Barnhouse (Steve), Dane Parker (John), Ronnie Shearin (Lois), twenty-eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Cozean Memorial Chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m. Visitation on Saturday, 7:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Genevieve Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials to HospiceCare, Inc. Video tribute, obituary and online condolences at www.cozeanfuneralhome.com
