Carol Vuichard
BISMARCK – Carol Vuichard, of Bismarck passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at her home at the age of 77. She was born in Washington County, Missouri, on October 22, 1944, to the late Perry and Cecelia Trokey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn and Brenda and a brother, P.J.
Carol grew up in the Washington County area and worked at Brown Shoe Company in Potosi for many years. Her wish was to pursue her education and she attended Mineral Area College where she received an Associate's Degree. Caring for other people, especially the elderly, was one of Carol's passions. She became a Certified Nurse Assistant and embarked on her newfound career of caring for others. She worked at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Mercy Jefferson and a local nursing facility. She was devoutly spiritual and was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Vuichard; her siblings, Iris, Barb, Donnie, Paul, Vincent and Mike; her special friend, Bernadette Blyze and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Father William Thess as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Potosi. Memorials may be made in Carol's name to the Pregnancy Resource Center – (Birthright) in care of the funeral home. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
