FARMINGTON – Kenneth Eugene Nations, 67, passed away March 19, 2018, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis. Ken was born March 10, 1951, in Bonne Terre, and was the son of the late Eugene Herman Nations (2017); Wilma Elizabeth 'Baechle' Nations (2015); and was also preceded by a brother, Donald Owen Nations (1986).
Ken retired after working for 36 years at Butler Supply, in Farmington, as Manager. Later, he worked part-time at Gifford Lumber Company. Ken attended St. Joseph Catholic Schools thru the 11th grade, then graduated from Farmington High School in 1969. Ken was a US Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include: his wife, Amy Elizabeth 'Schenck' Nations, of Farmington. Two daughters, Kristi Nations, of Farmington, and her sons, Ashton Petty and Tyler Petty. Lyndy Boyd, of Farmington, and her son, Tytan Boyd. A brother, Dennis Dean (Teresa) Nations, of Farmington. Two nieces: Katie Nations and her daughter, Mackenzie and Jen Nevil, and her children, Cora and Dean Nevil. Also surviving are many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews that were close to Ken.
Memorial visitation Friday, 4-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Saturday, 8 a.m. and Memorial Service 11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Paula Benne and Deacon Jim Robart officiating. Inurnment follows at Valle Spring Mausoleum in Ste. Genevieve, with Military Honors. Memorials to: Don Nations Scholarship Fund.
