Marilyn G. France
DESLOGE – Marilyn France, 81, of Dardenne Prairie, formerly of Farmington, passed away August 9, 2022, at Barathaven Alzheimer's Special Care Center. She was born November 7, 1940, in Beech Creek, Tennessee, to the late Cecil and Fanny Opal (Gardner) Wiley. Marilyn taught for the Central R-3 School District and retired from her 4th grade teaching position in 1998. An amazing cook, avid gardener and lover of all things outdoors and growing. Marilyn was happiest when she was volunteering at church or helping others in any way that she possibly could.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Bryan France; and brother, John Wiley.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Charles France and wife Christina "Nina"; granddaughter, Lucy; one sister, Violet Marshall and husband Roy; one brother, Martin Wiley and wife Claudia; numerous beloved nieces and nephews, also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, August 12, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Reverend Randy Murphy will be officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. View obituary and share condolences online at www.czboyer.com.
