Beth H. Lemon

Beth H. Lemon of West Chester Beth H. Lemon, 85 of West Chester, died Friday April 12, 2013 at Park Lane at Bellingham in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Leonard H. Lemon. Born in Glasgow, Mo. she was the daughter of the late Lester Haring and the late Mabel May Haring. Beth had worked as a school teacher in the West Chester Area School District for over 30 years and during that time received her master's degree in education from Villanova University. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity. Beth played the piano from an early age and was an accomplished pianist. Known for her gourmet cooking; Beth and her late husband enjoyed entertaining at their home. She was an avid reader and bridge player. Beth volunteered her time at the Chester County Hospital for many years. She was a member of West Chester Golf and Radley Run Country Clubs She is survived by her children, Sheri Lemon of Herndon, Va., L. Douglas Lemon and his wife Jenise of Romansville, Laurie L. Montague and her husband Peter of Exton, Meredith Lemon of Philadelphia; and grandsons, Jason Lemon, Christopher Lemon, and Andrew Prescott. She was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Haring. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service, 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Church of the Holy Trinity 212 S. High St., West Chester, PA 19380, followed by reception and luncheon at the church. Interment will be private.
