Emma E. Rossetti-Sorrells

Emma E. Rossetti-Sorrells (nee Fulmer) of Downingtown Emma E. Rossetti-Sorrells (nee Fulmer), 84, of Downingtown, passed away with her family at her side on Monday, September 22, 2014, at Hickory House in Honey Brook. Born, raised, and schooled in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence Martha Kohl-Fulmer. She was the widow of the late Umberto "Al" Rossetti of Havertown and Jennings F. Sorrells, U.S.N. of Boyertown. Emma was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was the last remaining matriarch of the Fulmer family and known affectionately by her extended family as "Aunt Babe." Catholic by faith, Emma was a former member of Saint Denis Church of Havertown and most recently Saint Joseph Parish of Downingtown. Emma will be sorrowfully missed by her sons, Albert (Michele) Rossetti Sr. of Cocoa Beach, Florida and John Rossetti of Malvern; surviving daughter, Jennifer (Eric D.) Ruggeri of West Chester; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers; Charles, Frank, Harry and George Fulmer; sisters, Florence Hynds and Eleanor Bezak; and beloved daughter, Zoile Emma Rossetti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 28th, at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134, where remembrances will be offered from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private at Saint Denis Cemetery in Havertown.
