Eustas E. ‘George’ Fisher of Thorndale Eustas E. “George” Fisher, 71, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Chester County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sonia B. Fisher, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Alps, Trelawny, Jamaica, he was the son of the late Levi and Lucille Rose Fisher. George worked as a technician for the Coca-Cola Company of Coatesville, retiring in 2013 with 30 years of service. In addition to his wife, George is survived by his children, Gary (Jeremi) Fisher, of Christiana, Gregory (Corina) Fisher, of Stewartsville, NJ, Jeffery (Tracey) Fisher, of Raleigh, NC, and Laurie Fisher, of Thorndale. He is also survived by two brothers, four sisters, and eight loving grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, at Downingtown United Methodist Church, 751 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, where family and friends can pay their respects from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. There will be an evening visitation from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Interment will be in East Brandywine Baptist Church Cemetery, Downingtown.
