John Rettew Obituary

John Gates Rettew, 53, resident of Naples, Fla. formerly of West Chester, Pa. recently passed away Thursday March 2, 2017 following a long and courageous battle with kidney cancer. Beloved husband of Debbie Morgan Rettew and loving father of Morgan Hil Rettew and Madeline Ann Rettew.
John Rettew was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Hodge Rettew. He is survived by his father William Wynn Rettew, his brother, William Rettew Jr, his sister Elizabeth ("Betsy") Rettew and many others cherished including Ann Morgan, Mike Morgan, many cousins, extended family and close friends.
Above all else John adored his family, friends and students. His love of others and his ever positive attitude will continue to be an inspiration for all of us. The family wishes to thank all of those who have provided support and shared John's life with us. A special thank you from the Rettew family for the nurses and staff at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa FL.
All are invited to John's Life Celebration at 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Hilton 5111 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL. The family requests that no black attire be worn to this celebration.
