I met Karen on my first trip to Paris in 2017, we met again on the 2018 trip, and planned a trip there this May. We both loved Paris and all things French and had many wonderful times! We shared rich experiences, beautiful sights, fabulous food, and laughs. On one occasion I tried to apologize to a Frenchman for hitting him in the face at an outside cafe ~ I was overzealously talking with my hands and whack! He spoke no English and I spoke no French so Karen (translating for me) and his girlfriend (translating for him) explained the situation. I was worried Id be going to the Bastille but, in the end, we all ended up laughing! That was just one of the many fun memories. Ill really miss her and Paris wont be the same....

Karen could always make me laugh from our years in elementary schools on through to our High School reunions. Rest In Peace with your family, Karen.
