This is Milan's mom, Roberta D'Anna Hervas. I just wanted to reach out to you and express my sincerest condolences. Your loss is so profound and tragic, I am at a loss for words in finding something comforting to sooth your pain. I hope that your your loving memories of Karlie will help guide you and protect you as you begin the healing process -a long journey that no mom and no sisters should ever have to endure. I am so sorry your family has been touched by such a senseless tragedy. It's not fair! With the strength of your love together, may you find some peace and the strength to endure the painful road ahead with Karlie always close to your heart to guide you at every possible turn. As a graduate of the Ville who lived when it was a Men's Dorm in Gilbert Hall, I share with you in your grief at the loss of your daughter, sister and friend. Such events are far from anyone's conscious while living at such a beautiful place. The renaming of grief support as Karlie's Angels will perpetuate her memory on the campus for many years, extending the memories of all those who personally knew and loved her. The entire college community grieves with you.
